Victorian Championships Rescheduled To May

The following is a statement released by the VKA / AKA on February 20, 2009.

The Victorian Karting Association (VKA) would like to advise that the rescheduled date for the 2009 Victorian Open Sprint Kart Championships, to be hosted by the VKA and the Eastern Lions Kart Club at the Hume International Raceway, will be May 8 – 10.

Competitors who had entered for the original date of February 13 – 15 will need to confirm their entry for the rescheduled date with the VKA office either via email or fax 03 5449 6442 only.

This will be in the form of a notification, not a new entry form as the original entry form will be used, the only alteration being the date of event.

Should a competitor who had entered to compete on the original date not be able to attend on May 8 – 10 they should also contact the VKA office requesting a refund on their entry and tyres fees via email or fax on 03 5449 6442 only.

The rescheduled date is considered to be a new race meeting therefore allowing further entries into those listed classes listed below. All classes will be required to meet the minimum number of entries of eight (8) to form a field.

The closing date for entries to be confirmed or received is Friday April 17.
