CRG Trifecta at CIK Series Melbourne Round

CRG walked away with a trifecta of victories after the running of the 2010 CIK Stars of Karting Series final round. The event was held at the Todd Road, Melbourne race circuit of the Go Kart Club of Victoria.

Pierce Lehane convincingly won both the KF3 National and Victorian Championships even though he was faced with very stiff competition. In spite of this he showed great skill and maturity whilst racing the finals. By winning the Championship, Pierce has also won the right to represent Australia at the Monaco Kart Grand Prix.

Jason Hryniuk meanwhile achieved another milestone in his illustrious racing career by winning the Yamaha Clubman East Coast Title. In winning the series, which was run in conjunction with the CIK Series, Jason has won the opportunity to represent Australia at the All Japan Championships to be held later this year.

CRG have had another fantastic weekend at the 2010 NSW Closed Titles when the team came home with a bevy of podium results.

Alexander Peroni To Race In Italy

Alexander Peroni will be travelling to Italy with his father Piero at the end of the month of July. Their mission is to tackle the Italian National Championship which will be run at the Siena race circuit on August 19 to 22. Alex will then compete at the World Series Karting event at the same venue on August 29.

Alex will compete using a Galiffa tuned LKE 60cc engine aboard a CRG VK1 chassis under the guidance of Alessandro and Simone Ottaviani who are the principals of the CIK race team.

Concept Karting and CRG Australia wish Alex and his dad Piero the best of luck in their venture.
